We're here to help you help your young women and girls get into cyber

Why is this important?

Women represent only 17% of the UK’s cyber workforce today. If we’re to increase this and attract more women and girls to the sector, we must help them see the career opportunities that lie ahead for this.

How this site works

Developed by CyberNorth and supported by Innovate UK and DSIT, this site is designed to give careers advisors and IT teachers like you, the information you need to support young women and girls into careers in cyber in the North East of England.

As a new and quickly developing sector, we recognise the need for up to date advice and guidance that you can reliably pass on to your students.

This signposting site will therefore give you the facts at your fingertips so you can empower young women and girls to make informed decisions about their careers in cyber.

What’s more, this information is curated specifically for the North East, giving you targeted information to help inform your young woman and girls in this region about the cyber sector.
